To stand out amongst a carnival of designer shops (including Chanel, Burberry, Gucci, and Ralph Lauren) is a difficult task, but somehow the Dior outlet at the Woodbury outlet center always manages to draw my attention with their deep discounts. I would not be surprised to see some deal-seakers showing up in their pajamas because this outlet is a buyers paradise. Dior and more Dior as far as the eye can see! The only regret you'll have when you leave is that you did not have more time, because a visit can easily eat up an entire afternoon. The best time to come is in when the doors open in the morning, because by mid-day the place gets packed. I picked up a pair of Dior stiletto's for 55% less than what the would have cost had I ordered it online.

At Dior head designer John Galliano is determined not to disappoint fans of one the most important couturiers of the 20th century. Let there be no doubt, however, that this is not the same Dior that your grandmother used to wear. I give credit to Galliano for turning this fashion house from one that outfits ladies who lunch to one that outfits women who rock. The luxury ready-to-wear fashion for 2010 is glamour to the nth degree, but it's worth every penny, because it's some of the world's most coveted haute couture.

Shopping at outlets has become second nature to me. Now that I've grown accustomed to the deals, I can no longer walk into a retail designer boutique and not cringe at some of the prices. Just last week, I saw a dress that was on sale for 30% off and it was still $500! What a deal right?! Wrong. I'm nowhere near the point in my life, where I'm willing to drop that kind of money for one article of clothing. If I had gone for that dress, I would of had to give up on that vacation. So instead this week I'm planning a trip to the Dior outlet at Woodbury. Sure, I'll still be spending money that I should be saving for a vacation, but at least this time I'll be giving a handful of jeans, shoes, skirts and dresses a new home in my closet. So what if the items from this outlet wont' be from the newest collection, they will be 40-50% off the original price, and I won't have to feel guilty because I'll be getting great quality work clothes that will last me awhile...or at least until I go back - after all it's just a short drive from work:

Miss Dior Cherie, $46 - $95

Oh, how much do I love Miss Dior Cherie? Let me count the ways. This fragrance exceeds all my expectations for a luxury perfume, and yet still manages to delight me everyday. At first the scent may seem slightly overpowering, but this is where the strength of the product lies. All it takes is a a few sprays in the morning, and you have a scent that is guaranteed to last till the time you go to bed at night. In my mind, Miss Dior Cherie is the perfect companion for the modern woman who loves to wear her femininity on her sleeve. This fragrance makes me feel like a goddess, no matter what outfit I wearing, and I leave having the confidence of the world at my back. I've never received more compliments from other woman, than I have with this scent, and I often get asked to write down the name for them, meanwhile many other perfumes hardly get even a second sniff.
